DEIB Training for Area Agencies on Aging

Pennsylvania's Human Relations Commission (PHRC) will provide training on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). This virtual training will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 9:00 am. 

This 1 ½-hour interactive training is designed for participants to view one another and themselves as multi-faceted individuals. The discussion is designed to be fluid and organic to encourage introspection that enables participants to recognize their own and each other’s humanity. 

This training aims to encourage participants to continue conversations around ways to overcome inequities and barriers for marginalized and systemically oppressed populations. 

​*Senior Center staff, care managers, administration, and other AAA staff are encouraged to participate.

Topics discussed: implicit bias, microaggressions, allyship, privilege, diversity, equity, inclusion, justice and belonging.
